Human Connection is a nonprofit social, action, and knowledge network that aims to connect information to action and foster positive local and global change in all areas of life. It provides users with the ability to interact with others, gain knowledge through articles and related posts, and take action by following suggestions provided by individuals or organizations.

Features

  • Social: Users can interact with others by commenting on posts and providing Pro & Contra arguments. They can also engage in conversations through integrated chat or Let’s Talk feature.
  • Knowledge: Users can access articles on various topics and find related posts through the More Info tab or by filtering based on categories and tags. A full-text search feature is also available.
  • Action: Human Connection encourages users to take action by following suggestions provided on the Action tab by other users or organizations.

Installation

To set up Human Connection locally, follow these steps:

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/human-connection/human-connection.git
    
  2. Install dependencies:

    cd human-connection
    npm install
    
  3. Start the development server:

    npm run dev
    
  4. Access the application at http://localhost:3000.
