Overview

Litarvan’s LightDM WebKit2 theme is a customizable theme for the LightDM WebKit2 greeter. It allows users to customize the appearance of their login screen by adding backgrounds and modifying the OS logo.

Features

• Customizable backgrounds in /usr/share/backgrounds
• Ability to change the OS logo in /usr/share/lightdm-webkit/themes/litarvan/img/os.xxxxxxxx.png

Installation

Arch Linux (3.2.0)

1. Edit /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf and set greeter-session=lightdm-webkit2-greeter
2. Edit /etc/lightdm/lightdm-webkit2-greeter.conf and set theme or webkit-theme to litarvan

Manual (3.2.0)

1. Install lightdm-webkit2-greeter using your dependency manager if not already installed
2. Download and unzip the tar file in /usr/share/lightdm-webkit/themes/litarvan
3. Edit /etc/lightdm/lightdm-webkit2-greeter.conf and set theme to litarvan

Building (latest features in development, future 3.3.0)

• This will generate a lightdm-webkit-theme-litarvan-3.2.0.tar.gz file in the current folder.
